- Versant struck a licensing agreement with Hulu to make The Golden Life available on the streamer in November, extending the E! series’ reach.
- Hulu will release the first two episodes on Nov. 3, with the remaining episodes arriving seven days after their E! premieres.
- E! premiered The Golden Life on Oct. 20 without a streaming destination, before the Hulu agreement gave the series its first streaming home.
- The Golden Life follows Kelly Bensimon, Countess Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer as the Real Housewives of New York City alumni reunite in Palm Beach for yacht parties, the Gay Polo League, a Miami girls weekend and luxury-boutique social events.
- Blink49 Studios produces the E! series, while Tara Long, Nadine Rajabi, Mark Ford, Ben Megargel, Paul Yuan, Janelle Couture, Rudy Castellon and Daniel Rogge serve as executive producers.
- Val Boreland said enthusiasm around The Golden Life had been palpable and called the Hulu agreement a way to reach a wider audience under Versant’s strategy of creating more ways for fans to connect with programming.
Why it matters: For cord-cutting “RHONY” fans, Hulu’s Nov. 3 arrival fills the streaming gap left when The Golden Life debuted on E! on Oct. 20 without a streaming destination. Versant also gains a Hulu window for the series, although every episode after the first two is delayed seven days from its E! premiere.
