Gadd's 'Half Man' Premieres on HBO Max

Why it matters: "Half Man" is Gadd's first major test since "Baby Reindeer" turned him into a prestige-TV name, and the show's willingness to stage ambiguous, intimacy-coordinator-supervised scenes between its male leads — including the sex-loss scene Robertson and Campbell discussed at length — is a clear tonal gamble for HBO's flagship drama slate.
