- Rupak De (LKP Securities) said the index is trading below the 21-hour EMA with a bearish RSI crossover, recommending a sell-on-rise approach with resistance at 23,500 and downside risk if 22,800 breaks.
- Kunal Kamble (Bonanza Portfolio) recommended buying ACME Solar at Rs 269 with a stop-loss at Rs 245 and targets of Rs 290/310, citing a breakout above the Rs 255–260 consolidation zone supported by rising volumes and RSI above 60.
- Kamble also recommended buying Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries at Rs 346 with a stop-loss at Rs 310 and targets of Rs 380/400, after a breakout above the Rs 330 resistance zone with sharp volume expansion and RSI sustaining above 60.
- Both picks share a near-identical technical template: price broke out of a multi-week consolidation on rising volume, RSI holds above 60, and the breakout zone is expected to act as immediate support on dips.
- The ACME Solar buy zone is Rs 265–270 and the Dalmia Bharat buy zone is Rs 340–345, each positioned just below the headline entry price with built-in buffer to the stop-loss.
Why it matters: Traders get defined entries, stop-losses, and 15-16% targets on two technically-setup longs, but the broader Nifty is bearish with resistance at 23,500 and a sell-on-rise bias — making these selective stock-specific bets in a tape where the index is signaling caution.
