- Jordan Henderson joins Chelsea on a two-year deal after his Brentford contract was mutually terminated; the 36-year-old made 32 Premier League appearances for Brentford in 2025-26 and cited manager Xabi Alonso as a key factor, saying 'Given the size of the club, the manager who I have great admiration for... this was a huge opportunity I couldn't turn down.'
