- Yadea debuted the Como, a full-suspension commuter e-bike at Eurobike 2026, featuring a hidden adjustable air shock concealed inside the step-through frame and matched by a front air fork for navigating potholes, curbs, and speed bumps
- The Como runs on an Ananda 250W mid-drive motor paired with a Shimano Acera 8-speed transmission, rolls on 27.5×2.4″ urban tires, and includes Tektro dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes plus a 36V 13Ah lockable frame-integrated battery with a stem-mounted LCD display
- The Como is EU-specific and software-limited to 25 km/h (15.5 mph); a belt-drive variant swaps the KMC chain for a Gates carbon belt and replaces the derailleur with a 7-speed Shimano Nexus internally geared hub that allows shifting at a standstill
- The Como is already proving popular in Germany and the Netherlands, where both countries have placed large stocking orders, according to a Yadea representative at the show
- Yadea also unveiled the Rover, a fat tire folding e-bike with 20×4.0″ tires, a 250W rear hub motor, 48V 13Ah frame-integrated battery, USB-C phone charging, and NFC-based anti-theft unlocking
- The Como targets Dutch-style upright commuter riders seeking extra comfort, while the Rover targets younger European riders drawn to fat-tire aesthetics, expanding Yadea's already vast lineup of scooters, motorcycles, and US-market e-bikes
Why it matters: Yadea — already the world's leading EV maker by production volume — is bringing a hidden full-suspension commuter and a belt-drive option to the European market, with large stocking orders from Germany and the Netherlands suggesting the Como has already cleared its first commercial hurdle at launch.
