- Druski headlines an ‘SNL’ episode on Nov. 7, becoming the first digital content creator to host the show, ahead of his Netflix series ‘Collect and Praise’.
- The Strokes return as musical guests for their fifth appearance on ‘SNL’ during Druski’s Nov. 7 episode, promoting their album ‘Reality Awaits’.
- John Mulaney hosts ‘SNL’ for the seventh time on Nov. 14, marking one of the most frequent hosting turns in the show’s history, though still short of Alec Baldwin’s record.
- Phoebe Bridgers performs as musical guest for the third time on Mulaney’s episode, promoting her album ‘Lost Weekend’ and currently on tour.
- Inde Navarrette hosts the previously announced Halloween episode of ‘SNL’ alongside musical guest Gracie Abrams.
Why it matters: Druski’s casting breaks new ground by elevating a digital-first creator to the ‘SNL’ stage, signaling a shift in how the show sources talent, while Mulaney’s seventh hosting turn reinforces his status as a modern staple despite not being part of the current cast.
