- Tottenham Hotspur have won none of their opening five Premier League matches this season and sit bottom of the table as the campaign resumes after a three-week international break.
- BBC Sport headlines the situation as De Zerbi's 'Premier League dilemma,' reviewing the club's poor start and asking whether another relegation battle is looming.
Why it matters: Spurs' winless five-match start leaves them bottom of the Premier League, an early-season position that raises immediate relegation questions for a club of their size. The three-week international break offered no respite — only time for scrutiny on De Zerbi to intensify ahead of their return to action.
