- The Odyssey topped the South Korean box office for a sixth straight weekend with $3.9 million from 449,474 admissions across 1,648 screens, commanding 51.4% of the total weekend market and lifting its cumulative gross to $89.6 million since its Aug. 5 launch.
- Obsession climbed to second place in its second weekend with $1.4 million from 176,479 admissions, lifting its cume to $3.7 million from 474,818 total viewers.
- Spider-Man: Brand New Day landed third in its seventh outing, generating $544,123 from 84,719 admissions and bringing its South Korean gross to $68.7 million from 8,930,413 admissions.
- The Drama debuted in fourth place with $223,340 from 29,512 admissions across 616 screens since its Sept. 9 premiere, per KOBIS data.
- Korean family road-trip drama "The Journey to Gyeongju" took fifth with $124,071, pushing its cumulative haul to $2.3 million from 332,960 viewers.
- The overall Korean market grossed $7.6 million for the Sept. 11–13 frame, down from $9.8 million the prior weekend, with new entries including the Inuyasha anime re-release and preview screenings of upcoming animated adventure "Forgotten Island."
- Sci-fi thriller "Hope" rebounded into the top 10 in seventh place with $125,591, pushing its cume to $36.2 million from 4,566,216 ticket buyers.
Why it matters: The Odyssey now owns 51.4% of a shrinking market — the overall Korean weekend gross fell roughly 22% week-over-week from $9.8 million to $7.6 million, indicating post-summer fatigue across the board even as Nolan's tentpole alone accounts for more admissions than the next two films combined.
