Amazon launched its Prime Big Deal Days event, also known as October Prime Day, framed in the guide as a precursor to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The Verge compiled every standout deal from the event into a single package, accompanied by a flagship article containing over 100 deals.
Deal categories highlighted span noise-canceling headphones, e-readers, laptops, gaming gear, Kindles, MacBooks, smartwatches, and TVs.
AirPods 5 are priced only $30 more than the wireless charging version but include many more features, per the guide.
Apple's M4 laptop is $20 cheaper at Amazon than the version available at Best Buy, per the guide.
Apple iPad Mini is back to its pre-RAMageddon price with a $100 discount, per the guide.
An Apple Pro device now costs less than the non-Pro model did at launch, per the guide.

Why it matters: Shoppers looking to Amazon's October Prime Day as a pre-Black Friday buying window get a single Verge-curated hub to scan, with the outlet flagging that some Apple hardware (M4 laptops, iPad Mini at $100 off) is undercutting competing retailers like Best Buy during the event window.
