- "Mystery Science Theater 3000: The RiffTrax Experiments" has set release dates for four new episodes, with "Sting of Death" debuting online Oct. 9 and "Deathsport" following on Oct. 23.
- The mystery third episode will be available on the RiffTrax Best Friends streaming service starting Oct. 30 before going public Nov. 6, while the "Space Raiders" episode drops Nov. 20 and features the onscreen returns of Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff.
- All four episodes will be released ahead of the 2026 Turkey Day marathon, a longstanding "Mystery Science Theater" fan tradition.
- The "Sting of Death" episode will screen in theaters nationwide on Sept. 9, with a special encore matinee Sept. 13.
- RiffTrax and Shout! Studios teamed to produce the four new episodes, with Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett, and Mary Jo Pehl returning both in front of and behind the camera; filming took place in Minneapolis earlier this year.
- All episodes will be available via RiffTrax.com, and Kickstarter backers at reward levels that include a download will receive a free month of Best Friends, redeemable starting Oct. 16.
Why it matters: The four new episodes reunite original MST3K alums Nelson, Murphy, Corbett, and Pehl with returning cast members Beaulieu and Conniff ahead of the 2026 Turkey Day fan marathon. The staggered rollout — from a Sept. 9 theatrical premiere through the Nov. 20 final drop — gives RiffTrax's dedicated fanbase a roughly 10-week engagement runway built around a single release event.
