- Drone struck and sank a cargo vessel in a new Black Sea attack near Romania, killing one person.
- Romania blamed Russia, while NATO said it would send planes and drones to the Black Sea after attacks on shipping.
Why it matters: Romania’s accusation places blame for the deadly ship sinking on Russia, while NATO’s announced deployment of planes and drones creates a direct military response to the reported attacks on Black Sea shipping. The vessel’s loss and one reported death make the consequences concrete beyond attribution.
