- Love Language premiered at the 2026 SXSW film festival before reaching select theaters and digital/VOD through Vertical.
- Joey Power wrote and directed the romantic comedy, which stars Chloë Grace Moretz as Lou, an aspiring author whose lucrative side hustle is writing wedding vows for others.
- Manny Jacinto plays Warren, Lou’s longtime crush, whom she reconnects with before learning that he is engaged to one of her new clients, Isabel May.
- Anthony Ramos plays Dash, whom Lou meets at the wedding of Billie Lourd’s character, where another friend, played by Lukas Gage, makes the introduction.
- Love Language has a 32-song soundtrack list, beginning with Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina” and also including Cat Power’s “Sea of Love,” Richard Swift’s “Lady Luck” and Chappell Roan’s “Red Wine Supernova.”
- Royel Otis contributes “Linger (as Broadcast on SiriusXM Radio),” while HAIM supplies “Little of Your Love” and The Fleetwoods appear with “Unchained Melody.”
Why it matters: Viewers gain two ways to watch after the 2026 SXSW premiere: select theaters or digital/VOD, alongside a list of all 32 songs. For Vertical, the rollout extends Love Language beyond the festival audience while keeping the film’s music discoverable through artists ranging from Daddy Yankee to Royel Otis.
