- Apple is adding a beta AI assistant built on models from both Apple and OpenAI to Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Logic Pro.
- Apple is also adding MCP support to Keynote, Pages and Numbers; the assistant can draft and restructure content in Pages and organize data in Numbers.
Why it matters: Apple users gain built-in drafting and restructuring in Pages and data organization in Numbers, while the beta assistant reaches four apps and MCP support reaches three. The concrete addition is AI assistance inside Apple’s existing app suite, with specific editing functions rather than only chat.
