- White's Tier 1 running backs are Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson, with Gibbs getting the edge because he isn't switching offensive coordinators the way Robinson is under new head coach Kevin Stefanski — plus Detroit's easy schedule and offseason offensive line upgrades.
- Jonathan Taylor, Christian McCaffrey, De'Von Achane, James Cook, and Chase Brown make up White's Tier 2, with White warning he will have 'not much exposure' to that group at first-round cost: McCaffrey's workload and age, Taylor's lack of receiving production, and Achane's new Dolphins offense with a weak passing game.
