- BBC Sport publishes daily football quizzes with three distinct formats available to readers each day, set by quiz designers Flora Snelson and Joe Rindl
- The "Who Am I?" quiz challenges players to guess a footballer in as few attempts as possible, unlocking a new clue after each wrong guess and awarding more points for needing fewer clues
- "Five in Five" requires players to deliver five correct answers within a five-minute window
- The "Brainteaser" presents a fiendishly difficult question and gives players five lives before the answer is revealed
- BBC Sport invites readers to submit their own quiz ideas via a dedicated contact channel and offers sign-up notifications for new quizzes sent directly to devices
Why it matters: Football fans looking to fill gaps between matches now have three free daily entry points — a quick clue-guesser, a five-minute speed round, and a harder trivia challenge — making BBC Sport a recurring habit rather than a matchday-only destination.
