- Magna co-CEO Davud Karbassioun said the pair 'occupy a unique space in filmmaking, capturing human emotion with an intensity that is rare to find' and seamlessly blend diverse mediums.
- The signing follows Magna's Oasis documentary 'Don't Look Back in Anger' securing an international theatrical and IMAX release on September 11, with streaming on Disney+ internationally and Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. later this year.
- Magna was launched last year by Karbassioun and former Pulse Studios boss Marissa Clifford, with Thomas Benski investing through his Lumina label.
- The Magna roster also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Asif Kapadia, James Marsh, Mona Fastvold, and Brady Corbet, among others.
