Why it matters: The new 10,000‑tonne annual recycling capacity directly addresses China’s projected 20 million‑tonne solar‑panel waste by 2050 and 3 million‑tonne turbine‑blade waste by 2035, preventing a massive landfill burden, reducing environmental contamination, and keeping its renewable push truly low‑carbon for future generations and supporting China's climate goals.
