Ukraine steps up drone attacks against Russia, Moscow strikes Kyiv

- Ukraine launched hundreds of drones across Russia in one of the war's largest aerial attacks, killing at least six people; Russia's Defense Ministry said it destroyed 822 drones overnight, while Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported roughly 600 drones targeted the capital, killing an 83-year-old man in a private home and sparking a blaze at a Wildberries warehouse in Podolsk.
- Russia's southwestern Rostov region came under attack from more than 150 drones across three towns, killing five people, damaging homes and a railway station, and sparking a forest fire, per regional governor Yury Slyusar.
