- Anker launched the Eufy MindBase at IFA Berlin, a local AI hub running an on-device, company-developed LLM that processes security camera footage without it ever leaving the home.
- MindBase doubles as a Matter 1.5 controller supporting 40-plus device categories, with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and Zigbee, and cross-platform compatibility with Apple HomeKit Secure Video, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant.
- MindBase supports up to 16 wireless cameras, four wired cameras, and 34 sensors, with up to 48TB of expandable storage and a dedicated AI chip enabling natural-language search, event summaries, and facial recognition — no monthly fee required.
- Eufy is releasing the wired S4 video doorbell this week at $299.99, featuring a 180-by-180 panoramic field of view, a "VR-inspired" mobile experience, 3K recording, 64GB onboard storage, and radar-plus-PIR motion detection.
