- Bandhan Small Cap Fund has delivered 27.16% annualized returns over three years (first in its category) and 20.29% over five years (third), with a year-to-date 2026 gain of 11.40% versus 8.66% for its BSE 250 SmallCap TRI benchmark.
Why it matters: The fund attracted ₹2,003 crore in July — the highest among small-cap schemes — as it added 15 stocks and fully exited 9, alongside steep swings like HDFC Bank's 93% stake increase and P N Gadgil Jewellers' 63% cut. With 27.16% annualized three-year returns ranking first in its category, Gunwani is rotating aggressively despite the strong recent track record.
