- Orange EV delivered its 2,000th electric terminal truck to Coke Canada Bottling, which awarded the truck maker a 2025 National Supplier Partner Award as part of the milestone.
- The delivery follows a record-setting 600-unit order Orange EV announced earlier in the month.
- Orange EV's deployed fleet has now logged 33 million electric miles and 12 million key-on hours across more than 370 commercial fleets, with an average uptime rate of ~97%.
- At roughly 3 gallons of diesel displaced per hour of operation, the fleet has reduced carbon emissions by more than 365,000 metric tons to date.
- Coke Canada Bottling President Tony Chow framed the partnership around reducing carbon emissions and managing environmental footprint for the family-owned, generational bottler.
- Orange EV Co-Founder, President and CTO Kurt Neutgens said the milestone reflects a broader industry tipping point, with fleet operators shifting from "whether" electric yard trucks can do the job to "how quickly" they can standardize.
Why it matters: For medium- and heavy-duty fleet buyers weighing diesel against electric, Orange EV's 2,000-truck deployment and 370-customer footprint delivers the first large-scale uptime case — 33 million miles at ~97% uptime — rather than a pilot promise. Coke Canada, a high-volume bottling operation, publicly endorsing the platform gives Orange EV a credible commercial reference customer that other MD/HD operators can benchmark against.
