- YouTube is the platform for the final spooky-season recommendations installment, which presents a small selection of videos the author calls creepy, disturbing, and 'just plain weird.'
- The spooky season recs break format in their final installment, recommending a selection of YouTube videos instead of a single horror film or an unsettling album.
- Surreal art is among the first categories addressed in the curated lineup, which the author frames as offering 'a little something for everyone' beyond the usual horror-film default.
Why it matters: For viewers making a final spooky-season pick, the practical change is format: a small set of YouTube videos stands in for one horror film or unsettling album, and the curation explicitly includes surreal art alongside creepy and disturbing fare. The editor does the narrowing, so readers can find something matching their taste without wading through a single genre.
