- Daniel Dae Kim's 3AD co-produces the series under his first-look deal with Audible, continuing a partnership that previously produced "Yellow Face" — Kim's Audible Original adaptation of David Henry Hwang's play, which transferred to Broadway with Kim in the lead role.
- Paul Bae ("The Black Tapes") wrote the series and James Kim ("Moonface") directed, with Kim, Jeong, John Cheng, Will Malnati, and Ashley Taylor serving as executive producers alongside co-producers Audible, 3AD, and At Will Media.
- Kim said the story is "unique to Korean American identity and universal in its exploration of the definition of personal success," while Jeong called the project a collaboration with "my friend Daniel" and credited writer Bae for the material.
Why it matters: This is the second Audible Original under Daniel Dae Kim's 3AD first-look deal, following "Yellow Face" — the Audible Original adaptation that transferred to Broadway with Kim in the lead — establishing Audible's pipeline of moving scripted audio properties to larger stages.
