- A'ja Wilson leads the WNBA in scoring (26.2 PPG) and blocks (2.0 BPG) while ranking third in rebounding (9.7 RPG), and is a -360 MVP favorite after posting 28 points and 14 rebounds in Tuesday's 98-83 win over Portland.
- Breanna Stewart posted 29 points, seven assists and four steals Tuesday in the Liberty's third straight win since the All-Star break (113-109 at LA), with Sabrina Ionescu adding 27 points and averaging 25.6 PPG on 53.6% shooting during the streak.
- BetMGM lists the Aces as 4.5-point road favorites with an Over/Under of 182.5 for the 10 p.m. ET tip at Michelob Ultra Arena; the FanDuel same-game parlay (Aces ML + Ionescu 15+ points + Wilson 20+ points) is priced at +129.
- The Liberty already beat the Aces twice this season, including the June 30 Commissioner's Cup final 93-85 — a game Wilson missed with an ankle injury — setting up a Las Vegas motivation spot to avoid a season sweep with one matchup still left in Brooklyn.
- New York is missing three rotation pieces — guard Marine Johannes (ankle, questionable), forward Satou Sabally (concussion protocol) and forward Leonie Fiebich (foot) — all averaging 9-10+ PPG, and enters as a league-worst 3-11 ATS on the road.
Why it matters: The Aces enter as favorites despite losing both prior meetings to New York this season, including the Commissioner's Cup final, and finally get their first look at the Liberty with Wilson healthy; a third loss would hand New York a season-series sweep and tilt early Finals-favorite leverage toward the Liberty given the +1900 WNBA Finals price on this exact matchup.
