- PCMag reports there is "no timeline for Fable 5" — the newer model stays in limbo even as Mythos 5 is cleared for limited deployment.
Why it matters: The release is explicitly limited to 'trusted partners' and 'key cyber defenders' rather than a full restoration of access. With Fable 5 still blocked and Politico's 'for now' framing, Anthropic regains partial market access while the US retains leverage on the newer model.
