- Fox will launch its fall schedule Sept. 21 with "Celebrity Name That Tune" Season 6, hosted by Jane Krakowski alongside new bandleader Robin Thicke.
- "Best Medicine" returns for Season 2 and "Doc" for Season 3 on Sept. 22, followed by Rob Lowe's "The Floor" Season 6 on Sept. 23 and Gordon Ramsay's "Hell's Kitchen" Season 25 on Sept. 24.
- Fox's Sunday animation block on Sept. 27 now bundles four shows: "The Simpsons" Season 38, "Animal Control" Season 5, "Universal Basic Guys" Season 3 and "Grimsburg" Season 3.
- "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" Season 5 and "99 to Beat" Season 2 also land Thursday and Wednesday slots respectively, completing the weeknight grid.
- Fox College Football Friday begins Sept. 4 — roughly two and a half weeks before scripted premieres — with NFL coverage and "The OT" returning Sept. 27.
Why it matters: Every scripted slot in Fox's fall lineup is a returning series, signaling a bet on established audiences over new-launch risk. The expanded Sunday animation block — now four shows anchored by The Simpsons — gives Fox a full night of family-friendly lead-in, while college football starting Sept. 4 means live sports carries the network for nearly three weeks before its entertainment slate arrives.
