- "The Pitt" led the 2026 Astra TV Awards with six wins, including best drama series, streaming drama ensemble, best drama actor for Noah Wyle, best supporting drama actor for Patrick Ball, and best supporting drama actress for Sepideh Moafi.
- "Hacks" swept the top comedy categories — best comedy series, best comedy actress for Jean Smart, best comedy supporting actress for Hannah Einbinder, and best directing in a comedy series for Lucia Aniello's work on the show's final episode.
- "Beef" dominated the limited series and TV movie fields with five awards, including best limited series, best limited actor for Oscar Isaac, and best supporting actor for Charles Melton, with Lee Sung Jin winning for directing "Oh, The Comfort, The Inexpressible Comfort."
- "Shrinking" took four comedy awards, including best streaming comedy ensemble, best comedy actor for Jason Segel, best supporting comedy actor for Harrison Ford, and best comedy guest actor for Michael J. Fox.
- Elsewhere, Keri Russell won drama actress for "The Diplomat," Macaulay Culkin won drama guest actor for "Fallout," Vince Gilligan won drama writing for "Pluribus," and Christina Ricci won comedy guest actress for "Wednesday."
- In nonfiction and variety, "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" won talk/variety series, "The Muppet Show" won stand-up/variety special, "John Candy: I Like Me" won documentary TV movie, and "Lost Women of Alaska" won docuseries.
- The Astra Awards are voted on by the Hollywood Creative Alliance, with EVP Matt Weis saying the winners represent "the extraordinary range of talent and storytelling that continues to make television such a powerful medium."
Why it matters: The Hollywood Creative Alliance used its awards to single out streaming-led shows — "The Pitt" (six wins), "Hacks" (four), "Beef" (five) — over legacy broadcast programs, signaling the group's positioning as a fresh alternative voter; the Hacks directing win specifically for its final episode marks the ceremony also serving as an unofficial sendoff for a concluded series.
