- Apple announced a touch-screen MacBook Pro with an OLED display at its “Pro and Tell” event, and hands-on coverage identified it as Apple’s first touchscreen MacBook.
- M6 Macs were also announced at the event, while the first-look verdict called touch nice but said the screen was the MacBook Pro’s real star.
Why it matters: For Mac buyers, Apple’s first touchscreen MacBook adds a new kind of Pro, and early testers rank the OLED display above the touch input. Based on that hands-on verdict, the laptop’s immediate appeal rests more on viewing than on the novel interaction Apple has added.
