- Mercedes-Benz revealed the first all-electric C-Class, positioning the mid-size luxury sedan as a direct rival to the Tesla Model 3 and the upcoming BMW i3.
- The C 400 4MATIC runs on a 94 kWh battery delivering up to 473 miles (762 km) of WLTP range, and can add 201 miles (325 km) in just 10 minutes at 330 kW on 800-volt stations.
- Dual electric motors produce a combined 482 hp, launching the car from 0–100 km/h in 4 seconds; a rear-wheel-drive variant with roughly 497 miles (800 km) of WLTP range is slated to follow in 2027.
