- England beat Ireland 68-32 to secure top spot in Pool A at the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup.
- England booked their place in the semi-finals with that Pool A victory.
- England completed the group stage with a 100% record, finishing the opening phase unbeaten.
- Australia, the tournament co-hosts, will face England in the semi-final on Tuesday.
Why it matters: England's 68-32 win over Ireland completes a 100% Pool A record and converts a group-stage finish into a semi-final berth, with co-hosts Australia named as Tuesday's opponent. Ireland finish the group below England, while Australia now has a confirmed semifinalist and England a fixed tie rather than a top-four place still to be settled.
