Netflix Developing Yankees Drama Series With Bateman, MLB

- Netflix is developing an untitled scripted drama series about the New York Yankees, with MLB Studios, Jason Bateman's Aggregate Films, and writer/director Josh Wakely on board.
- Josh Wakely developed the series concept after securing rights from MLB; the show will span several eras of the franchise, which has won 27 World Series titles (most in North America), 52 Hall of Fame players, and 11 Hall of Fame managers.

- The executive producer roster includes Bateman and Michael Costigan for Aggregate Films, Nick Trotta for MLB Studios, and Brillstein Entertainment Partners' Peter Sobiloff, Mike Sobiloff, Sean Mullin, Josh Glick, Daniel Cohan, and Jon Liebman.
