- Houthi forces struck Riyadh's passenger terminal with a projectile, killing at least 12 people and injuring hundreds at the Saudi airport, according to coverage from NBC, Al Jazeera and the Guardian.
- The Saudi-led coalition vowed retaliation for the deadly Houthi attack, while President Trump said he is weighing joining the fight.
Why it matters: A strike on a civilian airport terminal, a coalition retaliation pledge, and Trump weighing direct involvement together signal potential escalation of the Yemen conflict into a broader regional confrontation.
