- Como beat Manchester United 4-1 in the Champions League, with Nico Paz starring for the hosts as Manchester United suffered a heavy defeat.
- Manchester United lost to a Como side playing just its third-ever Champions League game, and the result piled pressure on Michael Carrick.
Why it matters: Como’s 4-1 win came in only its third Champions League game, while Manchester United managed one goal and the defeat piled pressure on Michael Carrick. The concrete consequence is a three-goal loss for United against opponents with only two prior games in the competition.
