- Manchester United lost 4-1 to Como in the Champions League, and the heavy defeat piled pressure on Michael Carrick.
- Como won in only its third-ever Champions League game, with Nico Paz starring for the hosts.
Why it matters: Como gained a 4-1 Champions League victory despite playing only its third-ever game in the competition, while Manchester United suffered a heavy defeat and Michael Carrick faced added pressure. The four-goal margin and Nico Paz’s starring role make the hosts’ win especially emphatic.
