Volvo EVs to use 20,000 Tesla Superchargers in Europe

- Volvo will let its EV drivers charge at more than 20,000 Tesla Supercharger stations across 29 European countries, with the rollout beginning in Q4 2026.
- Volvo app will provide navigation and payment for Tesla Superchargers, allowing users to locate and pay for sessions directly through Volvo’s own platform.
- Volvo EV models – including the EX30, EX40, EC40, EX60, EX90 and ES90 – will all be compatible with Tesla Superchargers, and the brand plans to shift Japan, South‑Korea and other Asia‑Pacific sales to the NACS connector by 2029.
- Alejandro Castro Pérez, Head of Energy Solutions at Volvo Cars, said the integration aims to make charging “simple and effortless” as Volvo accelerates toward full electrification.
