Jeep’s off-road EV goes on sale for $67,000, but its range is a bit disappointing

- Jeep opened orders for the 2026 Recon EV at $66,995, with the range-topping Moab edition the only trim available at launch
- Stellantis had projected roughly 230 miles of range for the Moab, but the official EPA estimate came in at 222 miles
- Built on Stellantis' STLA Large platform, the Recon packs dual-motor AWD delivering 650 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque, hitting 0-60 mph in as little as 3.6 seconds
- The Moab adds 33" tires, 9.1" of ground clearance, and Selec-Terrain drive modes including a new Rock setting exclusive to that trim
