Jeep Confirms Recon EV for Europe, Adds China-Made Flagship

- Jeep confirmed to Electrek that the all-electric Recon SUV will launch in Europe in early 2027, directly contradicting an AutoExpress report that claimed the model was dropped for the UK and European markets.
- Jeep plans to launch three new SUVs under the brand, including a D-segment flagship that will be produced in China through a joint venture with Dongfeng using the Chinese automaker's platform and technology.
- Jeep's flagship SUV will be sold in China and exported overseas to markets including Europe, with European boss Fabio Catone telling Autocar it will be "fully designed by Jeep" despite Chinese manufacturing.
