- Bandai Namco will release the Super Robot Wars Y version 1.4.0 update on August 4, featuring a 20 Million Sales Commemoration Mission, a 35th Anniversary Commemoration Mission, and a new game mode called "BOOST"
- Anniversary Expansion Pack DLC arrives August 5 from publisher Bandai Namco and developer Bandai Namco Forge Digitals, adding 33 new Area Missions, 12 new weapons, five new playable units, and one new Assist Crew member
- Version 1.4.0 also unlocks the pilot level cap and includes "other improvements for enhanced stability"
- DLC purchasers receive a bonus mission titled "Anniversary Expansion Pack Purchase Bonus"
- Super Robot Wars Y is currently available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam
