- Dan Steinman has been named president and chief content officer of Gigi Pritzker's Madison Wells production venture.
- Madison Wells is behind high-profile projects including Netflix's 'Nonnas,' the CNN documentary 'Prime Minister' about New Zealand's Jacinda Ardern, and 'The Baddest Speechwriter of All' — produced with Steph Curry's Unanimous Media, it won Sundance's short film grand jury prize and will premiere on Netflix later this year.
- Steinman spent nine years as co-president and COO of 30West, helping develop 'I, Tonya,' the 'Tiger King' docu-series, 'Triangle of Sadness,' and the upcoming Paul Rudd–Nick Jonas comedy 'Power Ballad.'
- Before 30West, Steinman held roles as co-president and COO of Black Bear Pictures and CEO of its Canadian distribution subsidiary Elevation Pictures, and earlier was a senior agent in CAA's film finance division, where he worked on '12 Years a Slave' and 'Black Swan.'
- Madison Wells also invests in streaming platform Mubi and Breakwater Studios, and produces stage productions including the recent Broadway musicals 'Hadestown' and 'Swept Away' and play 'The Inheritance.'
- Pritzker said Steinman's 'devotion and intentionality' will be invaluable, while Steinman said Madison Wells' 'vision is rooted in the future, focused on how we can evolve our content to match the moment.'
