- Strive purchased 469 Bitcoin between Sept. 8 and Sept. 11 at an average price of $77,954, spending $36.6 million and bringing total holdings to exactly 25,000 BTC per a Form 8-K filed Sept. 14.
- CEO Matt Cole said 100% of the capital came from SATA, Strive's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, which crossed $1 billion in notional value outstanding after 402,541 new shares were issued during the period.
- Strive raised its "amplification ratio" to 53.5%, meaning roughly $53.50 in preferred obligations now back every $100 of Bitcoin on the balance sheet.
- The purchase pace dropped sharply from 1,375 BTC (~$109 million) the prior week, when funding was split 70/30 between SATA and common stock; Class A common stock grew by just 34,206 shares this time.
- Cash on hand still ticked up from $202.6 million to $204.2 million even after the buy, because SATA proceeds exceeded the $36.6 million Bitcoin bill.
- Strive ranks fifth among public corporate Bitcoin holders per Bitcoin Treasuries, trailing Twenty One Capital's 43,514 BTC stack by 18,515 coins — a gap it can only close by acquiring roughly 1,234 BTC per week for the remaining 15 weeks of 2026.
Why it matters: Strive's weekly pace fell from 1,375 BTC to 469 BTC, yet it still funded the buy entirely through preferred equity — meaning the leverage on its Bitcoin bet keeps compounding (amplification ratio now 53.5%). At the current run rate, Strive would need to more than double its weekly buying to 1,234 BTC for the rest of 2026 just to close the 18,515-BTC gap behind Twenty One Capital.
