- Ritchson is also set to headline Maelstrom, Jaume Collet-Serra's action film at Netflix about a federal marshal guarding an arms dealer's fiancée as a hurricane traps them with incoming mercenaries.
- Ritchson is expanding into unscripted television as host of an untitled survival competition series for Netflix, produced alongside Bunim/Murray Productions.
