Israeli strikes kill four, destroy Gaza hospital supplies

- Israeli strikes killed at least four Palestinians across Gaza on Saturday, with attacks hitting Gaza City's Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, Deir el-Balah, and a tent near a school in al-Mawasi, north of Khan Younis.
- An overnight Israeli strike destroyed medicine warehouses attached to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah, with Gaza's Health Ministry calling it a 'heinous crime' and reporting that two of four storage facilities were completely destroyed and two others badly damaged.
- Al-Aqsa Hospital spokesperson Khalil al-Daqran said the strike destroyed intravenous fluids, medicines, and supplies used in dialysis and intensive care, while nearby tents housing displaced families caught fire.
- The attacks came days after Hamas and other Palestinian factions signed a disarmament agreement the United States called a breakthrough, with Israel having killed more than 1,200 Palestinians since the 'ceasefire' technically took effect on October 10, 2025.
- Gaza's Health Ministry reported seven people killed and 76 wounded across the territory in the past 48 hours, putting the overall death toll since October 2023 at 73,349.
- Former US deputy national security adviser Mark Pfeifle told Al Jazeera the strikes signal that Netanyahu 'isn't prepared to accept the agreement in its current form,' saying 'he still has some issues with it.'
Why it matters: The strikes hit one of central Gaza's few functioning hospitals within days of a US-brokered disarmament deal, directly testing whether that agreement can hold.
