- Cohen Media Group acquired U.S. rights to All About Corinne, an Isabelle Huppert comedy directed by Marc Fitoussi (Call My Agent!), ahead of its North American premiere at TIFF, with no U.S. release date yet set.
- Huppert stars alongside Sandrine Kiberlain, Anne Marivin, Emmanuelle Bercot, Diane Kruger, Ana Girardot, and Vincent Dedienne, with Kiberlain, Marivin, Bercot, Kruger, Girardot, and Dedienne appearing as versions of themselves.
- The film follows Corinne Maclou, a background actor who dreams of becoming more than an extra and befriends a famous actress (Kiberlain), and originally launched at the Locarno Film Festival.
- Director Marc Fitoussi reunites with Huppert after their collaborations on Copacabana, Paris Follies, and episodes of Call My Agent!, where Fitoussi directed six episodes in total.
- Producer Caroline Bonmarchand (Avenue B Productions) shepherded the project, which was co-produced by Beside Productions, Égérie Productions, Les Films du Camélia, France 3 Cinéma, Proximus, RTBF, Be TV, Orange, VOO, and OBE, with Indie Sales handling international sales.
- The deal was negotiated by Robert Aaronson, EVP of Cohen Media Group, with Charlotte Boucon for Indie Sales.
- Huppert will also be honored at this year's Toronto International Film Festival with the TIFF Tribute Performer Award.
Why it matters: Cohen Media Group is positioning itself as the U.S. distributor for a high-profile French ensemble comedy timed to Huppert's TIFF Tribute Performer Award — giving the film a built-in awards-season promotional runway despite no release date being set.
