- The Probability of Miracles has set Simon Arblaster, Danika Frederick, Dominic Goodman, Paravi, Sierra Sidwell, Mason Temple, and Karl-Antoine Suprice in recurring roles for the Prime Video series, based on Wendy Wunder's novel of the same name.
- The show centers on Campbell Cooper (Melissa Collazo), a terminally ill teenager who relocates with her family to a town called Promise, where miracles are said to occur, and gradually discovers love is possible against the odds.
- Previously announced cast includes Henry Eikenberry, Ginnifer Goodwin, Michaela Watkins, Georgia Acken, Ema Inês, Brian Tee, and Ben Feldman, joining Collazo in the ensemble.
- Arblaster plays Phoenix, Frederick plays Megan, Goodman plays Shane, Paravi plays Lily, Sidwell plays Sunny, Temple plays Royal, and Suprice plays Alec, according to the casting breakdown.
- Katie Lovejoy serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer alongside Rina Mimoun, who holds an overall deal with Warner Bros. Television.
- Alloy Entertainment produces the series in association with Warner Bros. Television and Amazon MGM Studios, with Alloy's Leslie Morgenstein and Laura Lancaster also serving as executive producers.
- Ella Jones is set to direct and executive produce the first episode of the series.
Why it matters: The seven new recurring roles flesh out Prime Video's faith-and-miracle drama adaptation ahead of production, giving co-showrunners Katie Lovejoy and Rina Mimoun a full ensemble to work with. The Alloy/Warner Bros. Television/Amazon MGM Studios production pipeline is now fully staffed for the pilot directed by Ella Jones, positioning the series as part of Prime Video's ongoing push into young-adult genre adaptations.
