- SportsLine's model flagged Giants receiver Malik Nabers as a bust despite an ADP around pick No. 37, ranking him outside the top 15 receivers behind DeVonta Smith, Nico Collins, and Zay Flowers, citing his ACL tear, a follow-up spring procedure, and the Giants' expected run-heavy scheme under OC Matt Nagy.
- Bills running back James Cook, going off the board at pick ~10 as the fifth RB taken, is ranked just RB10 by the model — behind Derrick Henry and Chase Brown — with elevated fumble rate and Josh Allen's touchdown-vulture role cited as the drag on his ceiling.

Why it matters: Fantasy drafters anchoring on name value for Nabers or Cook could be paying full sticker price for two profiles the model explicitly downgrades — Nabers' unproven post-ACL form plus a run-leaning scheme, and Cook's fumbling trend with Allen vacuuming goal-line work. The model's repeated success on past calls (McLaurin 2025, Taylor 2021, Stroud 2024) gives its bust flags real track-record weight, so ignoring them in early-round decisions carries tangible downside in any competitive league.
