- SportsLine's model released 2026 Fantasy football rankings for PPR and non-PPR leagues after running the NFL season 10,000 times, the same simulation that predicted Daniel Jones' 2025 Indianapolis breakout (QB10 before a Week 14 injury).
- Kenneth Gainwell is the model's top sleeper at ADP No. 100 overall; coach Todd Bowles labeled him "1B" to Bucky Irving's "1A" in Tampa, and Gainwell posted 73 catches and 1,023 scrimmage yards with eight touchdowns in Pittsburgh last year.
- Bhayshul Tuten is projected as a 2026 breakout with an ADP of No. 60 (going as late as No. 94); the Jaguars' new lead back after Travis Etienne left for the Saints scored in all four games he had at least nine touches as a rookie and posted the fastest 40 time among RBs in the 2025 draft class.
- Kenneth Walker III is flagged as a bust despite his strong 2025 playoff run with Seattle; the model notes no Kansas City RB has cleared 1,000 rushing yards since 2017, and Walker missed at least one game in each of 2022, 2023, and 2024.
- The top of 2026 ADP (PPR, via CBS) is dominated by RBs and WRs, led by Jahmyr Gibbs (1.71), Bijan Robinson (1.94), Ja'Marr Chase (3.41), Puka Nacua (4.65), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (5.65), and Jonathan Taylor (6.71).
- Tight ends Brock Bowers (No. 25) and Trey McBride (No. 28) along with QB Josh Allen (No. 26) are the first non-RB/WR players off the board, going early in the third round of drafts.
- SportsLine's track record includes correctly calling Jonathan Taylor's 2021 monster season, Rachaad White's 2023 breakout, Isiah Pacheco as a 2025 bust, and earlier sleepers Derrick Henry (2019), A.J. Brown (2020), Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara (2018), and Davante Adams (2017).
Why it matters: Fantasy drafters with ADP slots around pick 25, 60, and 100 face three high-leverage calls: fading the Chiefs' Walker III despite his playoff hype, betting on Tuten as a workhorse replacement, and grabbing Gainwell at a backup's price in a backfield that funnels targets to RBs (Tampa's RBs rank third in RB receptions since 2022). The model's pedigree — including nailing the Jones, Taylor, White, and Pacheco calls — gives its sleepers/breakouts/busts labels real weight for draft-day decisions.
