- Tom Pecinka (American Rust) joins Frisco King as Ryland, described as a businessman who is secretly a party animal, reuniting him with series lead Samuel L. Jackson after they appeared together in the 2023 film The Kill Room.
- Arturo Del Puerto (Pulse, For All Mankind) is cast as Hector, a smart and ambitious landscaper working on an upscale Frisco, TX property.
- Frisco King is a Tulsa King spinoff currently in production in Fort Worth, Texas, with Taylor Sheridan writing all eight episodes of Season 1; Jackson reprises his role as Russell Lee Washington Jr., first introduced in Tulsa King Season 3.
- Christina Alexandra Voros directs the pilot and will helm multiple episodes alongside fellow Sheridan collaborator Michael Friedman, with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios producing.
- Executive producers on Frisco King include Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, Jackson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Voros, Friedman, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, and Keith Cox.
- Pecinka arrives with a Tony nomination for Broadway's Stereophonic, while Del Puerto brings credits spanning Netflix's Glow, AMC's Fear of the Walking Dead, FX's Better Things, and Independence Day: Resurgence.
Why it matters: Sheridan continues expanding his Yellowstone-adjacent TV empire with a second Tulsa King vehicle, this time anchoring Jackson — whose character originated in Season 3 — as the lead. Casting working actors like Pecinka and Del Puerto in fleshed-out recurring roles, rather than guest spots, signals Paramount+ is investing in the spinoff as an ongoing franchise rather than a one-off extension of Stallone's show.
