- Netflix began production in Los Angeles on 'A Hundred Percent,' a half-hour comedy about a group of friends who are stars in the world of wellness and self-optimization but are 'most definitely far from perfect' in private.
- Tiffany Boone and Lisa Gilroy were added to the recurring cast — Boone as Abby, a fun new mom and motivational speaker's wife turned brand manager, and Gilroy as Jess, a movement therapist turned empowerment influencer who publishes an inspirational book called 'Big Girl Panties.'
- Previously announced leads include Nick Kroll, Sam Richardson, Jason Mantzoukas, Vanessa Bayer, and Diane Lane, with Kroll also writing and executive producing.
- Gabe Liedman (PEN15, Brooklyn Nine-Nine) serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer, with Max Joseph and Alex Plapinger as additional EPs.
- 'A Hundred Percent' joins Netflix's live-action comedy slate alongside titles including 'Nobody Wants This,' 'Running Point,' 'Emily in Paris,' 'A Man on the Inside,' 'Tires,' 'Survival of the Thickest,' 'Big Mistakes,' and the upcoming 'The Hawk' starring Will Ferrell.
- The series will film in LA alongside other Netflix productions including 'Monster S4,' 'The Lincoln Lawyer S5,' 'Forever S2,' 'Nobody Wants This S3,' and films 'The Rip,' 'Animals,' and 'One Attempt Remaining.'
Why it matters: Netflix's 'A Hundred Percent' deploys a six-name ensemble cast — Kroll, Richardson, Mantzoukas, Bayer, Lane, plus new additions Boone and Gilroy — into a wellness-culture satire run by showrunner Gabe Liedman, joining an LA production slate that already includes 'Nobody Wants This S3' and 'The Lincoln Lawyer S5.' The show extends Netflix's reliance on the half-hour ensemble comedy format that has anchored its live-action comedy lineup since 'Nobody Wants This.'
