- "Avatar: Seven Havens" was renewed for two more seasons (Seasons 3 and 4) at Paramount+
- The renewal was announced onstage at the show's New York Comic-Con panel on Friday
- The NYCC announcement coincided with the launch day for the new series itself
- In Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise parlance, the new seasons are also referred to as Books 3 and 4
- Headlines from Deadline and Variety also reported that a companion animated series, "Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos," was ordered to series at Paramount+ as part of the same NYCC announcements
Why it matters: Paramount+ renewed "Avatar: Seven Havens" for two more seasons on the very day the series launched, before audiences had seen a single episode — an early commitment that secures the show well past its debut. Deadline and Variety also reported a companion "Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos" spinoff ordered at the same NYCC event, expanding the animated Avatar slate to multiple concurrent series on the platform.
