- Strive acquired 1,107 BTC for ~$94.5 million between Sept. 21 and Sept. 25 at an average of $85,396 per coin including fees, per its SEC Form 8-K filing.
- The purchase brought Strive's total holdings to 27,462 BTC, valued at ~$2.3 billion at Friday's closing price of $83,943, a step down from the prior week's 1,355 BTC buy.
- SATA preferred stock supplied 85% of the capital raised, including $12.4 million from warrant exercises, according to CEO Matt Cole, while Strive's cash pile grew by $19.2 million to $248.8 million.
- Strive ranks fifth among public Bitcoin holders and would need roughly 1,235 BTC per week to catch Twenty One Capital's 43,514 BTC by year-end — about 16,050 more coins.
- Strategy separately added 1,665 BTC for $142.7 million, pushing its holdings to a record 847,666 BTC and widening the gap atop the public-company Bitcoin leaderboard.
- Bitmine (Tom Lee) picked up 17,362 ETH worth ~$47 million, bringing its stash to 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply.
Why it matters: Strategy now holds roughly 31 times as much Bitcoin as Strive, and Strive would need ~1,235 BTC every week through December to overtake Twenty One Capital — a pace that highlights how concentrated the top of the corporate Bitcoin treasury leaderboard has become even as second-tier buyers keep accumulating.
